Frequently Asked Questions
We get asked these a lot, so maybe it'll save you reaching out.
Do you ship overseas?
Well, we can finally say we do!
We ship basically anywhere in the world via Royal Mail and if you're looking at our website from abroad, your location should result in the correct pricing and currency being displayed. International shipping prices are calculated on a weight basis and do vary depending where you're ordering from/to however, all shipments go out via a tracked method.
We'd encourage you to follow this tracking for up to date delivery information and ensure the parcel isn't requiring action from yourself (ie. customs payments or a missed delivery collection). All customs and duties fees are the recievers responsibility and these charges will vary depending on your countries import rules.
How long will it take to get my orders?
Your order should usually be with you within 1 to 2 days of receiving your despatch email, however there are always issues out with our control that can cause delays.
We ship orders between Monday and Thursday and request that customers don't reach out to us with shipping queries until 7 days have elapsed since ordering.
For international shipments, transit times can vary quite a bit depending on where you're ordering to. Generally, Royal Mail aim to deliver to most of mainland Europe and North America within 7 working days and the rest of the world in around 10 working days. However, as the parcel will be handed over to your national courier upon reception in the desitnation country, it's then within their hands to deliver it in these aims - we'd encourage you to keep an eye on your tracking information for an accurate idea of timescale once the parcel has left the UK.
What couriers do you use to ship?
We currently work with Royal Mail for most of our parcels and use Parcel Force for larger orders.
Can I return my order?
We take great pride in our customer service and the quality of our products. If your order arrives and isn't as expected, please send us an email to hannah@cairngormcoffee.com to discuss a return.
Clothing with tags removed and coffee that has been ground may not be returned.
Please note that we can't pay for shipping returns, but local returns are possible at our Melville St store in Edinburgh.
How fresh will my coffee be?
We aim to ensure your coffee arrives with you within a week of roasting but usually it will be fresher.
Don't worry, super fresh isn't always best and we always advise resting your coffee for a few days anyway before drinking. You can find out more about this on our blog.
Can I book a table?
Our cafes operate on a first come first served basis and therefore we don't take table bookings.
Are you hiring?
We are always on the lookout for talented individuals who want to join our team.
For specific roles, we'll advertise these on our social media channels, so make sure you follow us and keep an eye out for those.
